The girls walk by a reception area, when the security guard at the desk asking why Waylon is late, the girls make excuses for Waylon, Andrea saying he was on his coffee break.
Waylon then gets called to the Morphogenic Engine Room, as the girls head over to their destination. They walk over to the voice and see a man, Jeremy Blair, who asks Waylon what he was doing, Mackenzie telling him that she lost her chapstick and that it has been resolved. The game begins, Andrea wondering if she should be hiding, while Mackenzie is hesitant to walk over to the voice. The girls send the email when they hear a voice, Renae and Andrea urging Waylon to send the email faster. Andrea seems annoyed that she's playing a narc, while Rashae jokes that she wants to type in something else. The girls attempt to read the email, though it zooms out too fast, some leaning in to see the email as the camera zooms out.Īfter the cutscene, the girls read the email but they do not catch that it's the same email sent to Miles. The game then transitions to a laptop monitor with an email, the camera zooming out. The doctor is then told to attend an emergency, so he leaves Waylon on the chair. The doctor then "helps" Waylon by licking his ears, making the girls cringe in disgust.
Renae initially thinks it's Rick Trager from the first game, although it isn't. Rashae wonder if the man is saving her, as he ties straps them onto a chair and starts talking to them. The girls begin the game and find themselves on a floor, dazed, as a doctor walks in and picks them up. The video begins with the girls expressing excitement on starting the game, although Andrea feels terrified while Rashae says she's not looking forward to the game. The first part was uploaded on May 7th, 2014 and was the 87th video uploaded onto the channel. She would eventually play the game in a livestream, over a year later, alongside Mariya and Stephanie. Sydney, who played the first game, could not return to play Outlast: Whistleblower due to scheduling conflicts.

The game acts as both a prequel and a sequel to the original game. It follows the story of Waylon Park, an ex-Murkoff employee attempting to escape the asylum and expose its secrets to the world.
